Skumlove Plays First show in Two Years

skumlove hit the Whisky stage on August 27 to play their first show in two years, post world shut down. This was also the birthday celebration for lead singer Skum‘s 50th birthday. few days prior to the show, Skumlove’s Bassist step down, but with a last-minute fill-in of Joe Taback – Guitarist of BIAS, the show went on. “There’s no need to go into details, but as I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again, there’s no stopping us. If you can’t hang and you are not having fun there’s the door we’ll be OK.”

Skumlove was more than OK with new guitar player M. Loebig, New drummer Jas Dillon and long time original guitarist Robyn Sin, Skumlove brought one of their best shows ever.

“I just turned 50 and most of the members are around my age so we had a lot to prove going against so many younger Bands out there.” but we only worry about ourselves, and we always bring it.” Skum continues. “ we’ve been doing this a long time and we do it for ourselves. There’s no agenda this time around, except for our own happiness and pride in what we do.”
